My photos of the aftermath of the fierce storms that ravaged North Carolina this past weekend. These illustrate the damage to a neighborhood less than a mile from my house. That one brick house was completely leveled. Thankfully no one lived in it and thankfully no one in this neighborhood was injured, but as you can see the neighborhood was slammed!
The people in the yellow vests are volunteers, just regular folk who showed up to help out. How cool is that? The trailer in the photo is a volunteer post where volunteers can take a break and get free food and water.
